### [v1.c9.s17.53](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.reference.ghosh-1989.v1.c9.s17.53)

Some of the Megalithic burial sites are situated close to the so-called Asura sites \[14.4\] assignable to the early centuries of the Christian era. But what relation, if any, these habitation sites had with the burial ones is not known since the cultural equipment of the Asura sites does not tally with the objects from the excavation of a neighbouring Megalithic site.
