### [v1.c9.s6.t2.9](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.reference.ghosh-1989.v1.c9.s6.t2.9)

About the agricultural produce not much is known except that jungle berries were used for food, while non-vegetarian food covered a wider range from pig and boar, to aquatics like tortoise and birds like jungle fowl and peacock. This again explains the marginal economic role that the Neolithic people played in the production of food and thus were minor partners in the community.
