The pottery from the excavation is in the form of small sherds. About 95 per cent of the sherds are handmade, coarse, grey or dull-red, often gritty, cord-impressed and basket pattern beater-impressed. The remainder is either coarse and grey, with incised herring-bone decorations or brick-red made of fine clay with plain surface.
