### [v2.c36.21](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.reference.ghosh-1989.v2.c36.21)

In one of the pit-houses has been found a child burial in two grey-ware urns placed horizontally mouth to mouth within a pit dug in the house floor, such twin burials being however, a distinguishing trait of the succeeding Jorwe culture \[4.14.6\]. The burial within the pit-house can therefore be regarded as belonging to the overlapping phase and the Mālwa people at the end of Pd I can be said to have adopted this burial custom from the Jorwe people who had already arrived at the site.
