### [v2.c36.22](https://indike.org/pramana/ins.reference.ghosh-1989.v2.c36.22)

The people subsisted on agriculture and hunting and fishing. They had domesticated animals such as the cattle, goat, sheep and pig. Their principal ware is a black-on-red painted pottery akin to the Malwa Ware \[11.10\], associated with which is a coarse handmade red/grey ware. The former is represented by the carinated bowl, spouted vessel and high-necked jar whereas in the latter are such utilitarian shapes as the bowl, basin and storage jar, sometimes decorated with incised and applied designs. The people used blade/flake tools of chalcedony and of copper which, however, is scarce.
