\*Pd V\* (c. 700-1200). Notwithstanding the disturbance caused by extensive pits dug deliberately towards the end of the occupation, several brick walls, foundation pits of buildings and remains of several floorings have been exposed. The discovery of a large number of architectural fragments, \*āmalakas\*, sculptures, a pedestal with \*liṅga\*, all lying at the same level, points to the destruction of some Brāhmaṇical structure. Among other finds mention may be made of several objects of terracotta, such as discs with nail-pattern design, a couch-shaped four-legged stool, daggers, toy-cart frames, wheels with hubs and beads of several semi-precious stones.
