The black-and-red ware \[11.6\] forms nearly 40% of the total pottery from the site, the other wares being the black, coarse grey, sturdy red and coarse red wares. Sherds of the Jorwe Ware \[11.11\] were found in the third phase. The black-and-red ware is of thin fabric, wellfired has a smooth shining surface and resembles that obtained from RANGPUR II C and III. Certain vessels have graffiti marks \[20.1\] on the interior.
