Suṣumṇā, the chief channel, lies between iḍā and piṅglā. It is the path of the Kuṇḍalinī.² The door at the lower end of the suṣumṇā is called brahmaḍvāra.³ The suṣumṇā is three-fold in its constitution; its inner fibre, very subtle, is the pale nectar-giving citriṇīnāḍī, the brāhmānāḍī.
