Nāgdā
v1.c16.s2.t3.1
Nāgdā on Chambal was another important settlement. Like Kayatha it has thick debris of the Chalcolithic period. The various pottery shapes and designs are typically ‘Malwa’. Nāgdā like Eran was fortified. According to Sankalia fuller details about this is generally available from the excavations at Navdatoli. (Sankalia, 1974: 434) The use of copper was limited but the chalcedony blade industry was fairly well established.
