Then follows a description of four of these toy-yantras: By striking at a pin, one makes a yantra jump up in the air and it comes down with a garland; another similarly comes back with a cup of water; a third dances; and the fourth sits up and gossips. After entertaining Madanamañcukā with these, Somaprabhā leaves the box in the former's care and departs. Next day, when she calls again, Madanamañcukā introduces her to her own parents. The two then go to the royal park where one of the toys brings forth a Buddha image and materials for worship. Hearing of this, the parents rush to see the wonder and on the King asking her about the yantras and how they go into action, Somaprabhā gives a short account of the yantras that her father had devised; the treatment here has some parallels with that in Bhoja's work.
