∗ Garbe in his “Indischen Mineralien” (Leipzig, 1882) gives the text and the translation of Ch. xiii of Narahari’s “Rájanighantu”; this work, however, is comparatively modern. Much useful information on the subject with bibliographical references will be found in Professor Yogesa Chandra Ráy’s treatise in Bengali entitled “Ratnaparíkshá.”
