Acyuta propitiated, by penance, Bṛhaspati, who taught him the \*Jātakaskandha\*. In a similar manner, Acyuta propitiated Śukra and Parameśvara also and got from them their teachings as well, which he propagated.³ Neither the date of this Acyuta nor any personal details about him is known.
