We can see the use of techniques of debate like \*jalpa\*, \*vitaṇḍā\*, \*chala\*, \*jāti\* or \*nigraha-sthāna\* in them. \*Vyavasāya\* is arriving at a decision through \*pratijñā\* and \*hetu\*. A speech in challenging tone is \*dyuti\*.
