In another interesting \*brahmodya\* described in \*Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa\* XI.4, Uddālaka Āruṇi, a resident of Kurupāñcāla country is confronted by the brāhmaṇas of north with several complicated questions related to the performance of the ritual of Darśapūrṇamāsa sacrifice. The \*yājamāna\* had chosen Uddālaka Āruṇi as a priest for the sacrifice and had placed a \*niṣka\* (coin) in his honour. Unable to resolve the riddles of the brāhmaṇas, Uddālaka placed the \*niṣka\* offered to him before one Svedāyana, telling that being more knowledgeable, he deserves the coin. The ceremony of the \*yajña\* being over, Uddālaka went to Svedāyana to learn the answers of the questions asked to him.
