10.93

kuñjāḥ, yathā uddhava-sandeśe (125)-
labdhāndolaḥ praṇaya-rabhasād eṣa tāmrauṣṭhi namraḥ
pramlāyantīṃ kim api bhavatīm yācate nanda-sūnuḥ |
premoddāma-pramada-padavī sākṣiṇī śaila-kakṣe
draṣṭavyā te katham api na sā mādhavī kuñja-vīthī //

Bowers, as in the Uddhavasandeśa (125): / Oscillating through the impetuosity of love, this son of Nanda, bowing down, / begs something of you who are wilting away, O red-lipped girl; / by no means must you look upon that pathway among the mādhavī bowers / on the mountain slope, the witness to the heights of love's wild delight!
