13.26

guṇena, yathā-
ramayantu tāvad amalai-
rdhvanibhir gopī-kapotikā kṛṣṇam |
iha lalitā-kala-kaṇṭhī
kalaṃ na yāvat prapañcayati //

[Pride] from virtuous qualities, for example:
“Let the gopī-doves delight Kṛṣṇa with their pure cooings
only as long as Lalitā, with her sweet cuckoo voice,
does not pour forth her melodious tune here!”
