13.55

atha jāḍyaṃ, tad-iṣṭa-śrutyā, yathā-
gopure ruvati kṛṣṇa-nūpure
niṣkramāya dhṛta-sambhramāpy asau |
kīliteva parimīlitekṣaṇā
sīdati sma sadane manoramā //

Now, stupor. It [occurs] through hearing of a beloved object, as follows: / 'When Kṛṣṇa's anklet chimed at the city gate, / even though she took haste to go out, / this charming woman, her eyes half-closed as if nailed to the spot, / sank down in the house.'
