kanyā mugdhaiva sā kintu svīyānyoḍhe ubhe budhaiḥ |
mugdhā-madhyādibhedena ṣaḍ-bhede parikīrtite //
An unmarried maiden is only innocent (mugdhā), but one's own wife and another's wife
are proclaimed by the wise to be of six types through the divisions of innocent, adolescent, and so forth.
