girāmalaṅkāravidhiḥ savistaraḥ svayaṃ viniścitya dhiyā mayoditaḥ
anena vāgarthavidāmalaṅkṛtā vibhāti nārīva vidagdhamaṇḍanā //
The rule concerning figures of speech has been stated in detail by me, having ascertained it myself by intellect;
adorned with this, the speech of those who know word and meaning shines like a woman skillfully adorned.
