deśakālakalālokanyāyāgamavirodhi ca
pratijñāhetudṛṣṭāntahīnaṃ duṣṭaṃ ca neṣyate //

and contradictory to place, time, arts, the world, logic, and authoritative tradition;
and devoid of thesis, reason, or example—[such a composition] is defective and is not approved.
