nāyakenaiva vācyānyā nāyakenetareṇa vā &
svaguṇāviṣkriyādoṣo nātrā bhūrtārthaśaṃsinaḥ //
is to be told only by the hero, while the other [is told] by the hero or by another. / Here there is no fault of boasting of one's own virtues for one who declares actual facts.
