payomucaḥ parītāpaṃ haranty eva śarīriṇām &
nav ātmalābho mahatāṃ paraduḥkhopaśāntaye //

“The rain-clouds indeed remove the burning torment of embodied beings; / is not the acquisition of selfhood by the great meant for pacifying the sorrow of others?”
