yā deśe dravyasambhūtir api vā nopadiśyate
tattadvirodhi vijñeyaṃ svabhāvāttadyathocyate //
The production of a substance which is not found in a country, or not taught [there],
should be known as contradictory to that [place], due to nature; as it is said:
