‘adreḥ śṛṅgaṃ harati pavanaḥ kiṃsvidityunmukhībhi- rdṛṣṭocchrāyaścakitacakitaṃ mugdhasiddhāṅganābhiḥ .
sthānādasmātsarasaniculādutpatodaṅmukhaḥ khaṃ diṅnāgānāṃ pathi pariharansthūlahastāvalepān .. 123 ..’

‘"Is the wind carrying off the peak of a mountain?"—thus looking upward with startled gaze / at your lofty height, the simple Siddha maidens watch; / rise up from this place of moist cane towards the north into the sky, / avoiding on your path the buffetings of the massive trunks of the quarter-elephants!’
