rājā candro nṛpo rājā payaḥ kṣīraṃ payo jalam ||

Thus ends the second section of detached verses, treating half-stanzas, in the Śabdaratnapradīpa. / The third section of detached verses: / 3-1 / From here on, multiple meanings in each quarter-verse are to be known by the wise: / Rājā is the moon, a king is rājā; payas is milk, and payas is water.
