prācīnāvītī vikhyātaḥ satyapāṇau samuddhṛte |
havyaṃ daive vidhātavyaṃ paitre kavyamiti smṛtam ||

He is known as prācīnāvītin when the right hand is raised up. / The havya is to be offered in rites to the gods; kavyam is remembered [as the oblation] in rites to the ancestors.
