dadāti kāle kāle ca bhāvaṃ gṛhṇāti bhāvataḥ |
sarvārthair api madhya-sthas tām evopacaret punaḥ ||

he gives at the proper time, and receives affection through genuine feeling; / impartial with all his possessions, he would again attend upon her alone;
