nāyakānucaro bhaktaḥ kiñcid ūnaś ca tad-guṇaiḥ | 90
pīṭhamarda iti khyātaḥ kupita-strī-prasādakaḥ ||
Among them, the companion hero: / A follower of the hero, devoted, slightly inferior to him in qualities, / who appeases an angry woman, is known as a companion hero.
