tasyāgrajanmā bhuvi rāja-doṣair
aprota-bhāvād anapota-saṃjñām |
khyātāṃ dadhāti sma yathārtha-bhūtām
ananta-sajñāṃ ca mahīdharatvam ||
His elder brother bore on earth the famous and true name 'Anapota' / because he was not woven over (aprota) by the faults of kings, / as well as the name 'Ananta' because he bore the weight of the earth like the serpent Śeṣa.
