satāṃ prītiṃ kurvan kuvalaya-vikāsaṃ viracayan
kalāḥ kāntāḥ puṣṇan dadhad api ca jaivātṛka-kathām |
nitāntaṃ yo rājā prakaṭayati mitrodayam aho
tathā cakrānandān api ca kamalollāsa-suṣamām ||

Delighting the virtuous, unfolding the water-lily, / nourishing delightful arts, and maintaining talk of long life, / this king brings forth the rise of allies— / as well as the joys of the cakravāka and the splendid delight of lotuses—ah, how wonderful!
