gītāntareṣu śrama-vāri-leśaiḥ
kiṃcit samucchvāsita-patra-lekham |
puṣpāsavāghūrṇita-netra-śobhi
priyā-mukhaṃ kiṃpuruṣaś cucumbe ||
From exhaustion from singing, for example: / "In the intervals of song, the Kiṃpuruṣa kissed the beloved's face, / whose painted leaf-decorations were slightly blurred by droplets of sweat from fatigue, / and which was radiant with eyes rolling from flower-wine."
