yathā-
nanu vajriṇa eva vīryam etad
vijayante dviṣato yad asya pakṣyāḥ |
vasudhādhara-kandarād visarpī
pratiśabdo' pi harer bhinatti nāgān ||

As [in the following verse]: / Surely it is the valour of the Wielder of the Thunderbolt (Indra) / that his partisans triumph over his enemies; / even an echo from the cave of a mountain / emerging from a lion splits the temples of elephants.
