āpado, yathā-
surata-śrama-sambhṛto mukhe
dhriyate sveda-lavodgamo' pi te |
atha cāstamitā tvam ātmanā
dhig imāṃ deha-bhṛtām asāratām ||
[Nirveda] from misfortune, as in:
“Even now the emergence of sweat-drops brought on by the fatigue of lovemaking / is held upon your face, / and yet you have perished on your own. / Fie upon this worthlessness of embodied beings!”
