aniṣṭa-darśanād, yathā-
sasureṇa ḍajjamāṇe gharaṇiaḍabhave ṇiuṃja-puṃjaṃmi |
ṇa suṇai suṇhā suṇṇā bahuso kahidaṃ bi sasurāe ||
From seeing what is undesired, as [in this Prakrit verse]:
While the cluster of bowers near the house is being burned by her father-in-law,
the daughter-in-law, vacant-minded, hears not, though repeatedly told by her mother-in-law.
