svāsthyena, yathā-
ramyāṇi vīkṣya madhurāṃś ca niśamya śabdān
paryutsuko bhavati yat sukhito' pi jantuḥ |
tac cetasā smarati nūnam abodha-pūrvaṃ
bhāva-sthirāṇi jananāntara-sauhṛdāni ||

Through health, as in:
Seeing charming things and hearing sweet sounds,
that even a happy person becomes filled with longing—
surely in his mind he recollects, without conscious awareness,
the affections of previous lives that are firmly fixed as impressions.
