līneva pratibimbiteva likhitevotkīrṇarūpeva ca
pratyupteva ca vajra-lepa-ghaṭitevāntar-nikhāteva ca |
sā naś cetasi kīliteva viśikhaiś ceto-bhuvaḥ pañcabhiś
cintā-santati-tantu-jāla-niviḍa-syūteva lagnā priyā ||
Through anxious reflection, as in:
As if dissolved, as if reflected, as if painted, as if engraved,
as if inlaid, as if fixed with diamond cement, as if buried deep within,
as if pinned in our heart by the five arrows of the Mind-born,
my beloved clings fast, as if densely sewn into the web of threads of unending anxious reflection.
