dṛḍhābhyāsena, yathā-
tad vaktraṃ nayane ca te smita-sudhā-mugdhaṃ ca tad vācikaṃ
sā veṇī sa bhuja-kramo' tisaralo līlālasā sā gatiḥ |
tanvī seti ca seti seti satataṃ tad-dhyāna-baddhātmano
nidrā no na ratir na cāpi viratiḥ śūnyaṃ mano vartate ||
Through persistent practice, as in:
That face, those two eyes, those words artlessly charming with nectar-like smiles,
that braid, that smooth movement of the arms, that gait languid with grace—
"That slender one," "It is she," "She, she!" constantly thinking of her with concentrated mind,
there is no sleep, no pleasure, nor any cessation; his mind remains empty.
