deva-prasādād, yathā-
tasyāḥ prasannendu-mukhaḥ prasādaṃ
gurur nṛpāṇāṃ gurave nivedya |
praharṣa-cihnānumitaṃ priyāyai
śaśaṃsa vācā punaruktayeva ||
[Joy] from the grace of a deity, as in:
Having reported to his preceptor the grace of that [cow], / the elder among kings, his face radiant as the moon, / declared [it] to his beloved with words that were seemingly superfluous, / since it was already inferred from the tokens of his immense joy.
