Conjunction of two [emotions] of different kinds, as in: / The limbs of the rival heroes of King Śrī Siṃha, / their necks embraced by their beloved women, / perspire and tremble violently / at thunderclaps that match the sounds of his war drums.
2.232.p1

Here, when thunderclaps occur, the combination brought about by the similarity of perspiration and trembling—between the terror of the rival heroes sprouted from the suspicion of the hero's preparation-drums and their joy swelling from the embrace of their beloveds—is conjunction.
