asman-mūlam idaṃ tanutvam iti kiṃ lajjālase locane

For example:
Assailed by thoughts whose roots and sprouts have grown deep in King Anapota-siṃha, / reduced to thinness, as if honed by the arrows of Kāma, / the slender-waisted girl asks: "Is this emaciation caused by us?" / When her eyes, slow with shame, close their eyelids, may that standard of Ratirāja unfurl!
