vijetā gāṅgeyaṃ jana-bharaṇa-saṃmohana-kalā-
vrateṣu śrī-siṃha-kṣitipatir udāro viharate ||
Harīścandra in the delight of protection and in truthfulness of speech, / Bṛhaspati in the eloquence of words, / in strict vows, in the scripture of statecraft, / conqueror of the son of Gaṅgā [Bhīṣma] in vows regarding the captivating arts of sustaining people— / the noble king, glorious Siṃha, disports himself.
