kulena, yathā-
gauḍaṃ rāṣṭram anuttamaṃ nirupamā tatrāpi rāḍhāpurī
bhūri-śreṣṭhika-nāma dhāma paramaṃ tatrottamo naḥ pitā |
tat-putrāś ca mahākulā na viditāḥ kasyātra teṣām api
prajñā-śīla-viveka-dhairya-vinayācārair ahaṃ cottamaḥ ||
Through noble lineage, as in:
“The Gauḍa realm is unsurpassed, and even there the city of Rāḍhā is matchless; / the supreme abode named Bhūriśreṣṭhika is there, and our father is the best; / and his sons of noble family—to whom here are they not known? / And among them too, I am the best in intellect, character, discernment, fortitude, modesty, and proper conduct!”
