dūra-protsāryamāṇāmbara-cara-nikarottāla-kīlābhighātaḥ
prabhraśyad-vāji-varga-bhramaṇa-niyama-navyākula-bradhna-sūtaḥ |
leḍhi prauḍho hutāśaḥ kṛta-laya-samayāśaṅkam ākāśa-vīthīṃ
gaṅgā-sūnu-prayukta-prathita-hutavahāstrānubhāva-prasūtaḥ ||
As in: / The mature fire, whose blows of fierce flames drive the flock of sky-dwellers far away, / whose charioteer of the sun is perturbed as he checks the wandering of his slipping team of horses, / licks the path of the sky, causing dread of universal dissolution, / born from the power of the renowned fire weapon hurled by the son of Gaṅgā.
