yathā-
janāya śuddhānta-carāya śaṃsate
kumāra-janmāmṛta-saṃmitākṣaram |
adeyam āsīt trayam eva bhūpateḥ
śaśiprabhaṃ chatram ubhe ca cāmare ||
As in: / To the person moving in the inner quarters who announced / the birth of a prince in words resembling nectar, / only three things were not to be given by the king: / the moon-bright parasol and both fly-whisks.
