kiṃ ca-
tad iha kalaha-kelī saikate narmadāyāḥ
smarasi sutanu kiṃcin nau parādhīna-suptam |
uṣasi jala-samīra-preṅkhaṇācārya-kāryaṃ
tad anu madana-mudrāṃ tac ca gāḍhopagūḍham ||
And further:
Do you remember, O slender-limbed one, on the sandbank of the Narmadā, our mock-quarrel play,
when we briefly fell asleep dependent on one another,
at dawn the work of the master in swaying the water and breeze,
then the imprint of love, and that tight embrace?"
