yathā tatraiva, (praviśya) hanumān-deva mattaḥ śruta-vṛttānto vasiṣṭhaḥ samaṃ bharata-śaturghnābhyām anyābhiś ca prakṛtibhir bhavad-abhiṣeka-sajjas tiṣṭhati | ity upakramya, vasiṣṭhaḥ : kā dīyatāṃ tva raghūdvaha samyag āśīr ity ādi paṭhati |
As in the very same work; (entering) Hanumān: “Lord, having heard the news from me, Vasiṣṭha stands ready for your consecration along with Bharata, Śatrughna, and the other subjects.” Beginning with this, Vasiṣṭha recites: “What fitting blessing can be given to you, O scion of Raghu…” and so forth.
3.168.p3
rāmaḥ: ārṣaṃ hi vacanaṃ vibhinna-vaktṛkam api na visaṃvadati yad agastya-vācā vasiṣṭho' pi brūte [10.69 padyād anantaram] ity antena agastya-labdhāśīrvādasya vasiṣṭha-vacana-saṃvādena sthirīkaraṇāt kṛtiḥ |
Ending with Rāma's words, “The word of a seer indeed does not disagree, even if spoken by different speakers, since Vasiṣṭha also speaks the words of Agastya” [after verse 10.69], kṛti is exemplified, because the blessing received from Agastya is confirmed by its agreement with Vasiṣṭha's words.
