tatra sāma priyaṃ vākyaṃ svānuvṛtti-prakāśanam ||

Among these, conciliation (sāman):
There, conciliation is an affectionate word displaying one's devotion.

As in the Mālavikāgnimitra: "King: 'Ah, do not be afraid!'

mālavikā (sāvaṣṭambham)-jo ṇa bhāadi so mae bhaṭṭiṇī-daṃsaṇe diṭṭha-sāmattho bhaṭṭā | [yo na bibheti sa mayā bhaṭṭinī-darśane dṛṣṭa-sāmarthyo bhartā |]

Mālavikā (proudly): 'He who does not fear has had his courage seen by me when he caught sight of the Queen!'
