As in the Rāmānanda:
"The sky wears a cloud-bank dark as the neck of a sparrow, as if it were a blanket; / intoxicated by its clamour, the horde of frogs seems to engage in debate; / wetted by the shower, the ground gives off a fragrance sweet as toasted puffed grain; / and the lord of rays, though hard to see, is inferred by the smile of the lotus-bed."

atra śleṣa-prasāda-samādhi-samatādīnāṃ guṇānāṃ upamā-rūpakotprekṣa-hetūnām alaṅkārāṇāṃ ca sambhavād idaṃ bhūṣaṇam |
Here, due to the presence of qualities such as cohesion (śleṣa), clarity (prasāda), concentration (samādhi), and evenness (samatā), as well as figures of speech such as simile (upamā), metaphor (rūpaka), poetical fancy (utprekṣā), and poetic reason (hetu), this is ornament (bhūṣaṇa).
