As in the Mālatīmādhava, Mādhava (with joy): “By good fortune Mālatī too, accompanied by Lavaṅgikā, has [returned]! / A wonder! Through the presence of the pure moon of the lotus-eyed girl's face, repeatedly falling into numbness, / like a mountain of pure moonstone, / this liquefying alteration is borne by my mind.”
