śuddhaṃ, yathā mālatī-mādhave (10.23), kāmandakī-
yat prāg eva manorathair vṛtam abhūt kalyāṇam āyuṣmatos
tat puṇyair mad-upakramaiś ca phalitaṃ kleśo' pi mac-chiṣyayoḥ |
niṣṇātaś ca samāgamo' bhivihitas tvat-preyasaḥ kāntayā
samprītau nṛpa-nandanau yad aparaṃ preyas tad apy ucyatām ||
Pure, as in the Mālatīmādhava (10.23), Kāmandakī:
"That good fortune which was previously chosen by the desires of the two long-lived ones / has borne fruit through merits and through my initiatives, as well as the hardship of my two disciples; / and an accomplished union of your beloved with his mistress has been brought about, / and the two royal youths are delighted; whatever other wish there is, let that too be spoken!"
3.28.p1
ity atra kāvyopasaṃhāra-ślokena tṛtīya-puruṣārthasyaiva phala-kathanāt śuddhaṃ kāryam idam |
Here, because only the third goal of human life (desire) is stated as the fruit by this concluding verse of the drama, this is a pure denouement.
